It's a good number for synchrony bank. I though it could have been for Amazon ccard so I called the number provided for the card on Amazon website. Confirmed I had no balance so I called this number. Turns out it was for a Sleeptrain mattress I purchased and the payment was in fact late. I only gave them my phone number and they were able to find my account info. I thought it was a scam also but turns out it wasn't.

This is not telemarketing.
This is a call from Synchrony Financial.
They are confirming your new dental account information, or they are calling because you have not yet paid your bill.
When you "signed up for financing" thru your dentist, you applied for credit with them.

Unsolicited robo recorded call from GE Capital, where the announcement says this is a call for (my name mispronounced), if this is ____press one, is this is not ___ press 5, if ______is available press, whatever. There is no way to easily stop the calls. The recording says to do so I must call the above number. Or go to their website. AS IF I want to do that! Is this even legal?

Daily recorded calls from GE Capital. They say to call the 877 379 4933 if we don't want more calls. Grrr....
