The caller said his name was Michael Thompson, with an Indian Accent, and said i was chosen at random to receive a $50.00 Walmart Card along with a $50.00 restaurant voucher, etc for the shipping price of $5.85. Of course beinf niave, i complied and gave them my information. When i got back to work from my lunch break, i googled the numbers they gave me and it all said it was a scam. i have to now cancel my card and get a new one. they gave me a few numbers - 888-593-5216, 877-993-6264, 877-398-7805. they gave me a confirmation code of 10317121916. I told them i wasnt authorized to use this card because it was not under my name, it was under my fiance's, but they did not care. How could i be so stupi!
