SPAM call and / or hijacked number.
I received a call from this number, 877-410-4635 with the name DIRECTV coming through on my telephone display. The calling agent said he was from DIRECTV, had my full legal name, and obviously my telephone number. The agent started to read a script until I asked 3 times what the purpose of the call was. The agent responded that it was DIRECTV (telling me who was calling but ignoring my question as to the purpose of the call). The last time I requested the purpose of the call, the agent hung up on me. I called the number back, and it was identified as being DIRECTV. I contacted DIRECTV, who advised that this was NOT a telephone number associated with DIRECTV.
Please investigate 877-410-4635 as a scam

Cant understand

Got a call the other day. Didn't answer. I was busy. Got # and ID (Direct TV) but no message. I am a Direct TV (AND AT&T mobile) customer. I live in Ohio but my cell # is a Florida #. So why would they be calling my cell? I'm sure this is a scam and I blocked the number. Again... Why would you call a Florida # when the account is located in Ohio. I'm NOT going to pack my equipment in a backpack and carry it with me to Florida. Because although I may be stupid I'm NOT dumb. And when I get there I can just transfer my address and get new equipment. SCAM!!!

i get this call every other day when they called he stated that he have a promotion going on with ebay. i would have free hbo stars etc etc free for two years and my bill would be only $50 a month for 2 years but i had to pay $300.00 up front. so he said in order to receive this promotion i had to go cvs or walgreen and purchase a ebay card scratch the numbers off in the back and give him a call back because it was only for that day and it was over at 9pm so i called direct tv the rep stated there was no promotion going on with ebay i gave her the number she called it and said it was rejected oh im sorry i received a text from them about this but they keep calling me
