I have received several calls from this number and so have members of my family. They say they are looking for me so that they can serve a summons. For what, I couldn't tell you. I googled the number and it's a scam. I phoned the number they left on voicemail because they always call from a blocked number. I just got into a shouting match with this person who answered the call. First he acted as if he didn't know what I was talking about and said he didn't call. I told him he was the person who left a voicemail message and asked his name. He of course gave me a fake name. He called me a bitch and said I needed to pay my bills. I told him to STOP calling me and my family because I did not owe anyone. He said they weren't asking me for money but in the next breath said I need to stop stealing from the bank and pay my bills. I informed him that he needed to get a real job and stop harassing people and to stop calling me and my family. He said he was not going to stop. He hung up in my face. Hopefully they will leave me, my family and all the other people they try to abuse and scam money from alone.
Scam alert! I just got a call on my work line from a guy who identified himself as a process server. He claimed that I was being served in an attempt to collect a debt. He then stated that I could "avoid the embarrassment of being served at work" by calling 1-877-457-1341 (this number) and making payment arrangements. When I called him on his BS as I haven't had an overdrawn checking account since I was 25 (I'm 41 now) he started screaming at me and calling me an effing C and a bitch. I hung up and called the police. The officer I spoke with said that's a known phone scam where the perpetrators try to get people to disclose credit card information over the phone; he also said that they often call businesses and listen to company directories to get names in order to emphasize that they "know" where you work and are prepared to serve you with papers there. So if this happens to you, don't fall for it!
