Same here. I received the same phone call. Was informed that I would be taken to court because I owed $500.00 for a payday loan (Alliance Online) that was direct deposited into my account. I contacted the bank as I have not banked with them in 4 years. After going to the bank and speaking with a banker, I was informed that there wasn't anything deposited into the account. After informing the caller of this after they called me a second time, they informed me that the money was not deposited, apparently I went into a branch, received the money, and used my account as collateral for the money to be withdrawn out of. "This is by far one of the dumbest things I have EVER heard". I asked to be sent out a copy of my debt as I have that legal right. I was informed by the company that they no longer had the information. I will be given the information after being served by the sheriff in Minnesota. However, I will be unable to see any information pertaining to the amount in detail until the court hearing, and my wages will be garnished if I don't have the toal amout of $3100.000 that includes court/lawyer fees
