04/09 Got the same message stating it was M & T's fraud dept. My mom has an account with them and I take care of all of her banking so I called the bank but did not call this 877 number the message told me to call. M&T said it was bogus.

I got a call on 4/9/15 about a fraud and to call 877-464-6686. It sounds like they called a lot of people on that day. I didn't call them. Never give out your card number. If it was a genuine fraud, they should already have your card number.

I do have an account at M&T Bank and called my local branch and they have received many calls from customers regarding this phone scam and some are receiving text messages. They said to ignore the call and DO NOT call back 877-464-6686. It is a SCAM.

same thing happend to me on 4/9/15 at 1:45 pm same message as above and number. dont give your number out on the internet i get irs and scams like this all the time scary.

I, too, got the same call on 4/9 at 12:57 from "M&T Bank fraud department". I don't have any accounts with them.

I got the same call twice at 10:06 and 11:32 am .I have no M& T account .

Sounds like I got the exact same call. I got the call at 12:37pm on 4/9/15. I knew it was a scam because I also do not have any M&T accounts. Glad to know I'm not the only one!

Robo call received 4/9/15 on my cell phone (phone did not ring but went directly to voice mail) advising me to call the M & T Fraud Detection Department at 1-877-464-6686 ASAP about potential fraud involving my debit card. Because I do not have any M & T accounts or debit card, I knew it was a scam.
