Called the phone number, just to see what in the world this was all about. Someone named Steven Franco answered and we discussed the opportunity of this compnay. They wanted to take over our credit card processing so they could take the first 20-25% of our future Visa/Mastercard and Discover sales. I have contacted the Canadian BBB and the US local BBB for more information on this company and I got nowhere. I researched the physical address given to me by this company on MapQuest and it seems to be a office building in Vancouver, BC. But none of the businesses listed in the building match up to the given name on the fax of Merchants Bank, Inc.

I will be resarching more information with the government agencies in Canada to see what they say about this offer.

All in all, mystery company. Watch yourselves.
