Robocalled me 4 times with request to return call to clear up important file with missing information. They are debt collectors, calling themselves variations on "Imperial Recovery Litigation". They are robocalling people with names matching their list of debtors. Very nasty and stupid staff, they even gave me the name and last four digits of the social security number for the person they are seeking-which is illegal. I called once and asked for a name I just made up and they said, "he is in a meeting". Report them to the FTC and your State Attorney General. It is illegal to use robocalling in most states, and illegal for debt collectors not to identify themselves when they call.
I answer - no one talks. Silence. I advise do not answer. I don't. I talk to people, not machines
Extortion scam--calls to say they have conflicting information on a form about someone I know, but they can't leave information on the answering machine. An offshoot of the fake DEA scammers.
Called looking for our son who has not lived here in past 9 years. Would not identify self or reason for call. We are on the no-call list. I then hung up!
