Just received a call from some lady with thick accent name Tony. She stating i have 2 cases filed in State of VA and i am in NY. Asked to call me back at 877-540-5129 to resolve this matter out side of the court and left me some 5 digit case number. what should i do?
BOTTOM LINE. DON`T ENGAGE THESE PEOPLE IN A CONVERSATION. IF YOU DON`T RECOGNIZE A NUMBER SUCH AS THIS ONE, 877 540 5129. THEY ARE JUST THIEVES.
BTW: They call on 484-246-5875 which is a local number for me and then ask me to call back on 877-540-5129 and 877-583-0989.

Received multiple calls from some lady that I could barely understand, decided to finally call them back after they called my sister. Verified the last 4 of SS# and I said let me guess you are saying I took out a payday loan and the man said yes. I said I never had one and he said you did in 2008. I said the statute of limitations for debt in PA is 4 years, this is an 8 year old debt. he said for fraud it is 3-10 years, which I knew was a lie too. I said I want some proof, he said when the loan was taken you received proof. I said I know you guys are just trying to scare me and I am not scared. You want to scare people into paying things that either are not theirs or too old to collect on. he advised me he is just trying to settle before it goes to court and now that he had made contact with me he will have to advise his client that I am not willing to cooperate. I said if you expect me to hand money over to you without proof you are crazy. He told me that if I make a small payment or enter an arrangement they would then send proof. I said oh, so you can restart the statute clock on the debt? I don't think so. I asked for his information, like address and such and he gave me the same line I have seen on here multiple times, our main office is in Miami but we have offices all through the US. I said no, I want your physical address, he said we are not allowed to give that out. I said thanks so much, tell your client to take me to court and do not call me or anyone else again about this. Thanks and hung up. If you are not willing to give me proof of my debt, just try to scare me into paying it and then not even give me your information...you are a scam! No thanks, I straight up told him I felt sorry for him, I mean everyone has to work I guess. BTW, he had a thick foreign accent as well. Scammers!!
