I work in a 2 person branch of a well known national investment firm. The woman who called asked for "Sharon Gurley". I repeated our business name, said "this is a 2 person office and I've never heard for Sharon Gurley, what number did you dial?" and she immediately disconnected.

Same as everyone else. Calls every day but no messages or person on the other end when I answer. one time it just said "Goodbye" in a techno voice.

I sent a log of the dates and times of the calls received to the inspector Generals office. Maybe if other people follow the same procedure it may be possible to get these calls to stop. Inspector General office 1-800-447-8477. I also filed a complaint on line to the do not call list showing dates and times of the calls.LIke others I find it very annoying and also feel like a hostage in my own home.

Dozens of hang-up calls over several days (not on weekend). Appears to be prank phone calls. It isn't DNC - they would hardly use techniques like this and it isn't their number.
