CID: UNAVAILABLE 1-877-587-5727. Receive calls 3-5 per day; recently started leaving messages "I know you're busy, but please take time to call at 1-877-587-5727 to check your account status...." I don't listen to whole message/just delete. Believe it is a scammer, my bills are paid; like calls from "Unavailable" claiming to be Microsoft (MS), using a real MS phone # wanting access to computer & hold computer hostage (freeze your access) unless you pay them money to correct problems you do not have; or to purchase an alleged warranty.

Called Citibank on a advertised costumer service number to verify. I have a zero balance on my Citibank account. This is one of their actual numbers. HOWEVER!!! it is currently being spoofed. But if you are getting this call and it's NOT a real person and they don't have your account information. It is a very well done scam... . Hang up!!!!!

I am receiving 2 or more calls a day. They tell me to log in and update my information on their website. I called Citibank and they verified I do not have any accounts with them. They put me on a Do Not Call list and since I am still getting the calls I am sure this is a scammer or phishing for my personal information.

This is NOT Citi. I have a Citi Card but it doesn't have my cell number attached to it. It has both my home landline and business phone, but not my cell. I made an online inquiry through the Citi website via my account login and they said there were no messages for me and they did not have any records of recent calls to me. These scammers call 2 to three times a day and are now on the reject list on my phone

I called this number back - I didn't put any information in and it transferred me to someone. They asked for my account and I said I didn't have one. She asked my phone number. Gave it to her along with my first name only. She stated it was for a Childrens Place credit card. I told her that I don't have one and she stated she will remove my number. We shall see

My god..I can't believe people are still so dumb as to CALL BACK these numbers! And you actually went a step further and gave then your phone number again? You just put yourself on MANY more lists. And you are lucky you didn't see a HUGE charge on your phone bill.

NEVER CALL BACK SUSPICIOUS NUMBERS! At BEST, you just let them know it is an active line. And worst, they just spoofed a 900 number to make it look like a regular number or 800 number and you will get charged a $50 connection fee and $4.99 a minute.

These people called me today. Initially there was someone on the line with an Asian accent followed by someone who did not have one. He said he was calling from Citi Bank. I told him I did not discuss banking information with strangers he hung up .

Its absolutely Citi, and whether you have a card that says Citi on it, or they're the behind the scenes lender to a store card you have, it's not a scam. You're just a deadbeat.

You are an asshole jumping to conclusions....I got this call and I am not a deadbeat...I am a 75 year old ill person facing bankruptcy and having an attorney consolidate my debts. I just checked the number because it was a hang up. What Vegas says should stay in Vegas' mouth.

This number has been calling me for the past few months. It started with one or two calls a day and now is up to 8 or 10 calls every day!!! That includes weekends and has already started today, Memorial Day! Caller ID says it's from CITI, or 800 Service, where I have never had an account, nor will I ever have an account with them. I have also twice filed a complaint with the No Call List. How do I make them stop calling me???

I don't have a Citibank card, yet these people tried calling me 3 times. When called back, system asks for my card number. Yeah, that's not happening even if I had a card.
