This number calls my cell phone a few times a day. I have nothing to do with CitiBank so not sure why they would even be calling me.

Citibank and when I called back it was in EVERY Frickin language other than English....!!!!!! scammers, fakes...lock you all up and throw the key away or just shot you all.

Says they are from Citibank and I was past due on my account. Said insufficient funds to cover it. Asked me to verify bank account numbers associated with payment. Had the name of one bank right but second one (from which I used) was not right. They wanted last 4 of the account to verify but wouldn't give me last 4. I told them I would have to get back with them. Stated they are hard to reach. I looked up Citi number on my card and not the number. Tried very hard to make me verify the account number. Citi would never call multiple times and they would mail any notifications!
