Scammers. They know your name and know you're a client of USAA. I checked with USAA and was told they are NOT trying to contact me about life insurance. I just answer the phone and set it aside to waste their time. Usually put in front of a speaker so they can listen to The Ben Shapiro Show.

I have been getting calls and texts from -1-877-627-2811.

I called them from a landline the greeting was suspicious they answered this is USAA please leave a message or stay on the line… So I stayed on the line. Then someone named Deborah answered - fasted time for any valid USAA call. They said they were from LBG digital services working on behalf of USAA and they needed my log in info to access my USAA account with questions about life insurance and banking account.

I told them I did not think so and that they were not a valid number at which point the person began to argue with me claiming that they were working on behalf of USAA and they would put their supervisor on the phone.

Not the behavior of a valid USAA Customer service representative.

Left a voicemail claiming I requested info from USAA life insurance / I’m not a veteran so I know it was a mistake. Thanks for these posts.

Received a voicemail. Claimed to be USAA in regards to a "recent quote". Since I had requested no such thing, I searched and discovered the same as the others here. NOT USAA!

Collections calling me cause I helped a friend out with a car payment. I shouldn't have used my phone to make the payment. Now they call me constantly as if I owe them money for something I don't own.

This is NOT USAA nor an affiliate. I received a call form that number and some guy said he was with USAA mortgage services and he asked if I could hold on the line while he connected me to a specialist. Already seeing this as fraud, I asked the guy what department he was in. He said some incoherent department name and re-iterated that there was a problem with my mortgage and he needed to connect me to a specialist. I told him no and that I would call USAA myself. When I called USAA they said there is no issue with my mortgage and that there was no record of someone trying to call me. I did further research online and found out that number (877-627-2811) attempts to steal your identity by claiming to be with USAA life insurance, vehicle insurance or mortgage services. I called USAA and reported this to the fraud department. USAA said they will issue a member alert informing people to not answer calls from that number.
