Called from loan number (856) 571-4233 with the same script. Told to call the same toll-free number. Says number is from Kevin H**** from Pennsauken, NJ.

My mom just got this call, only the message was about someone (sounded like they were getting out of jail) needing to verify info for place to live.

My son just received a call coming from 877-630-6498 case #52268326. for asset verification and say they have paperwork for us to sign and need to verify your address and SS number. document processing in 24 and 48 hrs. i received call and they left Vm with same msg 5 mins later. shm

I received the same exact VMM twice from a local # (813-639-8889). The VMM is identical to yours. Exact wording.

What was the outcome? Was this legit as I received a call yesterday and today, and they called my mom and mother in law

Received a call on my UNLISTED (yeah right!!) ph. #. at home and then my cell phone a few minutes later.
Lady said she was with Asset Verification. Needed to confirm my address and employment name. Claimed to have or need social security # (Red Flag.) Needed Asset Verification for the "Boards" review. They were going to expedite the asset paperwork within 24 hrs.(insert fear). The documents would need to be signed and returned.

I still have a request for you to sign for and respond to a required demand notice per federal guidelines. Now since I haven't heard differently the issuing process may commence today. You do still have the opportunity to contact an advisor with any questions this gonna be done by contacting them directly at 877-630-6498 reference your file number 51913191. Otherwise fair to contact may result in further determination is being made pursuing to all typical state and federal guidelines you have now been officially notified for the final time."

I just got a phone call on my voicemail stating that she has a piece of paper with all my info that she needs to verify before they serve me with documents that they are requesting my signature on. Excuse me but if you have a piece of paper with all my info what the hell do I need to verify it for? SCAM!!!!! better luck next time Elaine.

Similar story as previous commentators. Left me a vm for my mother, was the only really difference. Was able to route the call so that it did show up like a local number, but left me this toll free number. Did not leave a message with the callers name and company representing. State they were calling for asset verification, claimed to have my mother's SS number, and that they were processing for enforceable review.

Eileen with Asset Verification Services called my cell phone trying to reach one of my family members. She told me I was a "contact number" on the account. Not true. Scam.
