This number called my home phone on SUNDAY October 16, 2022 at 1:46 pm (CST). For the name of the caller it says V01614462400038 and the phone number 877-696-6775. Everything that I've found about this number says it's for the US Department Of Health And Human Services. This is obviously a robocall (and a spoofed one at that) because WHY would a GOVERNMENT AGENCY be calling on a SUNDAY? 🤔🤷 When I called the number back a recording said their hours are Monday through Friday, but I can't remember the times it said. That just proves that it's a spoofed call. 😡

Received a call from someone talking in a foreign accent saying he was from Health Verification. And when I asked what he wanted he said that he wanted my health history. When I told him that I wasn't giving him my health history he asked "Why?". I said "Because I don't know you." He hung up.

When I asked if I called back if the government of the United States would answer the phone and verify what he was saying I would listen he hung up on me

They called about 10 times today. Answered once, told them not to call again to no avail. I just ignore it now.

Yes,I too was called at least a dozen times yesterday and they come from U.S. GOVT as well as random numbers one caller was all 0's..and now today 2st call came in at 7:30 a.m the last call was made yesterday a 9:58..i do beleiv e there are laws about calling before 8 am or after 9 pm...whatever I'm sure these are some type of SCAM to gain your info..

Heavy Indian accent with a lot of background noise, you could tell my number was called using an 'auto dialer" (I know this due to a few breif months I spent as a telemarketer in my early 20s ugh lol) this triggered the thought that it could possibly be a scam. I'd have thought the US department of health & human services would be a US based call with NO noisy background due to hippa laws. He proceeded to ask personal information and I told him I wasn't comfortable giving this out over the phone and hung up. If it was something important then the US DHHS would have called me back & they did not. Just Beware! (PS when you get a call and it is dead silent and you're saying hello repeatedly then all of a sudden you hear all the background noise and the caller 'clicks' onto the line and starts talking to you.... Your # was probably called from an 'auto dialer'. As soon as you pick up the phone you're automatically connected to the next avaliable random person.)

This is a scammer that is using the phone number listed as Heath and Human Services, but if you contact Health and Human Services they will tell you they do not make outgoing calls of this nature. This person is a scammer trying to gather your information for either stealing your identity or to steal your bank account. Do not answer it, and if you do tell them they have the wrong number and then hang up.

Caller ID showed DHHS Info Gov. and the phone number 877-696-6775 is an actual number listed for the Dept. of Health & Human Services according to this website: http://www.hhs.gov/about/contact-us/index.html
