I received same calls Nicole Mendoza told me that the Government sets up these account as write offs so they can help people who were having bad times because of the economy. Then asked me which grants I would need when I told her that I was just checking how much help I could get she told me whatever was needed. Then I told her the amounts of each and she turned around and said I could get more and not only I could apply for these but so could my husband and daughter. Like the rest I beleived them gave them my card # and she told me if I didn't like what I seen that all I had to do was call back in and give them my confirmation # and they wouldn't charge anything else to the card. I am a big sucker no more. This is a scam and watch out.

Thecaller name Vanessa Gracia : re: free grant money from the government. Most of what was said was like all other complants. I think our state (RI) general attorney should do something. I been getting these call everyday for the last week and a half.

call was from grantdirector.com claiming i could receive free government grants for my business. The gentlemen sounded sketchy, but i listened to his offer. He said his name was shaun morrison, but spoke with a heavy Indian accent...i doubt his name was shaun. I told them i would have to do some background checks on his company before i went ahead giving credit card info. Within the next three hours i receeived 5 calls from the same number. finally, i answered. It was the same guy claiming his name was now Jack something. I told them to lose my number and never call again. I suggest anyone being pursued by this agency do the same.

I just received a call this morning from Chris Morgan id # 3934 about free government grant on 11/09/2010. I was suspicious that something is wrong while listening to the voice's caller. He told me that I would be able to receive free grant for my small business and no need to pay it back. I questioned Mr. Mogan if the service is free? He said $2.97 as the only fee they are going to charge me. Then I asked him specifically if there is any other fee would I be charged? He said no. After he got my credit card information, suddenly he got confused and said the $2.97 is for the first section. So I asked him iabout the next section? He could not explain himself, right away I discovered that was a big lie. I asked him to cancel right away this account and he passed me his supervisor Withey Davis who spoke a bunch of craps. I told to cancel or I would report them to the office of Attorney General in my State. To that point, they agreed to cancel. Be careful, these people are sick puppies who need help.

She called about the Government Grant and I told her that I had been told about that before she said you just have to pay 2.97 for a week . After I tried to go in that sight I could not go. I checked my account i found out that the money had been debted from my account. I try to call I could not get on to the lady . I was checking my account last week my account had been charged 49.45 I had to change my card.

I was called by ricky cortez 10/28/10 was told about grant money you do not have to pay back gave me his employee no#1597 2.97 charge was taken then sent me to another person named joey cruz with telephone #866 672 6753 hung the phone up was curios so i looked it up came up with these complaint and immediatly called cancelled the card and call the 877-706-3817 press one to speak customer rep do to high call volume on is availible and the message repeated again sxo can you say SCAMM action shoulb be taken to stop these kind of SCAM tactics

On 10/12/2010 I spoke with the representative about the grant (for home),conf.#92734.I paid $2.75.After that day nobody called me about some information or result of ability to get the money!This is the lie and only draw the money!!!

I got a call on 10/25/2010,just a few mins ago from Liam Jabcobs at Grant Director and said there is money for us from the federal gov. Free money waiting for my family and I didnt have to pay it back for only 2.97 on my card for 7 days free trial and 39.00 monthly if I continued with the internet service of the web site www.grantdirector.com, I was a sucker wasn't I? He did say spend my money wisely!

OMG. DON"T FALL FOR THIS!!! They are trying the same exact speach to everyone they call. They even called my wife a week ago but she hung up on them. Thank god for Google. I got a call from a foreign women that I barlely understand stating that I am eligable for a government grant because I'm over 18 years old and pay taxes. I'm a very skeptikal person so I pretended to go along with it as I googled the info they were feeding me and sure enough, they tried the same scam with 100's of people who reported it. The exact dollar amount and all. $2.97 fee. Every time I tell them that any stimulus or government grant I've ever received never required money espescially over the phone, they dodge the question or pretend not to hear it. After I told the foreign woman that uncle sam don't just give out money, what is it for? Stimulus? Moratorium? BP Oil Crisis? She didn't even know what that was? and anyone who lives in the south knows how bad the moratorium affected us, she then put her 'direct' manager on and I spoke with him and told him I just googled their site and they are 100% bull, he dodged that question. I also asked him when were they going to tell me about the 50 dollar a month subsciption charge which I read on here then he finally admitted that when they get my checking account, they will charge me 50 a month. For WHAT? THAT IS NOT A GRANT. IT IS A SCAM!!
Don't fall for this. Nothing in this world is free. I really feel for people who fall victim to this because as hard as it is to survive in this world nowadays, it's not difficult.

I was called 4 0r 5 times yesterday, but no one was on the line. So when that name and number came up on my phone to night the name of the person calling said it was Megan Viez employee ID #3601. She said I had looked at something in my e-mail about government grants and she or her company would send me all the help I would need to file for a grant for the small fee of $2.97. I had not followed through on the e-mail because usually they are for school. I was just looking, but she assured me I was eligible and if I wasn't interested I coulld call in a week and cancel. I refused to give her my bank account number, but after listening to her I thought it might be worth $2.97 to see what they had and I gave her the number of my Master Card Credit and debit card. She got my mailing addres and told me to watch my e-mail and get everything together in that week so I could cancel. Then she said she would put me on the line to someone who would send me a $50 card, for Resturants, I think. I kept telling this woman I couldn't understand her because there was so much noise in the background and she kept talking that the card was free and somehing about a membership and I told her very definitely not to put anything on that card and she said, I think "it's for later after you have tried that card" I told her several times Not to add any thing to that card and I wasn't interested. There was so much noise in the background I am not sure what all she said, but I know I definitely told her not to add any money to that card. Finally she asked me if I was between the ages of 17 and 70. I told her I was beyond that as I am 79 years old. She immediately told me I wasn't eligible beause I was too old and I asked her why didn't they ask about age at the beginning . She didn't answer that and I think she may have repeated that I was too old because I am over 70, but it was so noisy in the back ground and she hung up very quickly. I would also be given a free magazine subscription for a certain amount of time and to cancel the phone # was 1-800-283-3956 I will go to my bank in the morning and have them dismiss these charges and to be aware of any charges made to my card that was not made by my husband or myself
