Hey everyone. I did apply for a loan but I thought better of it after all the SPAM crap I started receiving. When I stared listening to the recording, I accidently pressed "1" for having read to terms on the website that I couldn't even access, mind you (damn touchscreen phones!) But, I didn't go any futher after that or provided any more information and just hung up. Should I be worried? Could they still debit my account even though I didn't give it to them on the recording? Lord knows what info they had on me before they called? Has anyone done what I did and get charged? I'd appreciate any similar stories. Thank you in advance for your help! Happy (Belated) New Year everyone! What a "great" way to start off, right? LOL! :o)

I also received such a phone call asking me to verify that I applied for a loan. I did apply for such a loan, but the terms did not indicate that they would take money up-front or thereafter on some monthly basis. I received no further email from the loan company after the verification call, and I cannot even view the website, www.loanterms.cl in order to see the terms. I simply receive an error message... something about a missing template???

A call came thru my phone and hung up~so I had a missed call. I called it back because sometimes my voicemail acts up and doesn't notify me of messages. It was a pre-recorded message telling me that I was approved and that the call was being recorded for quality, to go thru the prompts and press either 1 or 2. I listened for a moment and it said that I must agree to the terms on loanterms.cl. I had no idea what they were talking about so I pressed 9 and the message told me to read the terms and that they would call back in 30 minutes. I went to the website to see what it was and all I saw was terms. The only company name I saw that might be able to identify who was contacting me was Platino Interprises S.A., so I placed that name in the Yahoo and clicked on the first link I saw and this site poped up. I typed in the name and I see that others are having the same issue. I cannot afford my bank account to be accessed without my permission. I have enough trouble paying my own bills why would I sign up for anything. This is horrible!

They call and say they have important message for you. Then they want you to look at their web site because they approved you for a loan. They tell you to press nine if you never view their terms at their website. So That's what I did and they said they will call back in 30 mins.

It was an automated call that gave a web address to go to because i was approved for a loan i dont recall signing up for. after ending the call and researching the given web address of www.loanterms.cl, it basically told me that 49.95 would be taken out of my checking account (unathorized mind you) and i would have to pay 19.95 monthly thereafter. It gives no direct website or contact information other than stating to contact them (which is the only method of contract found on this website article) through an email address of: cs@loanterms.cl. Know I am afraid that I have fallen into a trickery scam to allow what seems to be a fraudulant company to export funds from my checking account. Please help.

This phone number is linked to the same people who ask to be called to a 469-821-0335. It,s a very big scam! The people who call have strong hindi accents. I filed a police report against the owners of these numbers and will soon file a report with the FBI. I suggest to do the same if you feel threatened, harrassed, etc. They say they are "officers" and go by american names like Greg Willson or Harry Morgan, etc. In some cases they have asked for pre-paid credit cards or cash payments. DO NOT pay these people, it,s a SCAM! In some cases they even have SS# or ID numbers and will try to intimidate.
Another thing we may try to do is try to get and address out of them en post it online for everyone to see. Lately they have been calling on behalf of UNLD INC. which is based in India. The 469 number is from a place in Terrel, TX (I think).
If we all work together to catch these crooks we could probably put them in jail for good.
By the way, this 877 number is a toll free and I could not figure out to which company it belongs.

they called me asking for me to agree to loan terms agreement! HA haha FUNNY!
I didnt apply for a loan.... it says to agree to the terms of an agreement, if you havent read the terms of the loan agreement then go to the website
" http://www.loanterms.cl "
it has no other links to the so called site just asking you to agree and then probably asking for account information.
