Received a SCAM call from a hispanic man claiming to be Edward Smith. He said he was with a division of AT&T in order to renew my service.
Mr. Smith knew my 3 telephone numbers and claimed I had a 4th number, which was actually my neighbors number.
I was scammed once by a long distance company claiming to be AT&T, but not again. Adios Mr. Smith
They ask for account information claiming to be AT&T. They are not! Do not give your information away to them.
Caller claims to be with AT&T..claims that we have uverse with them which is untrue...then tries to tell me AT&T is switching me from Uverse to fiber optic... Told them NO, not interested in AT&T..remove me from calling list..the caller insisted I have to accept AT&T's fiber optic cable... NOt true, hung up on him after stating precisely and clearly to remove me from his calling list
Called right after I spoke to AT&T and claimed my information had been lost. After they asked me to repeat my information I hung up and called the woman I had previously spoken to. Turns out this was a scam call!
We received a call on our office line at noon today. Frequently I don't answer toll free numbers, but I did this time, not identifying our organization's name. No one responded, so I just placed the phone on the desk until they hung up.
