978.570.2305 is the number which appears on my caller ID and she also provides the phone number of 1.877.723.1427 in her VM msg.

Dirty Rat Liars!! Here is the exact message left for me...on my cell....which is an UNLISTED #.....

"Hey Guys, this is Ashley James here again hey we spoke on the phone last week about possibly trying to lower your interest rate and reducing your monthly payments on your credit cards so i wanted to let you know i did find a solution we've got a program that can lower your interest rates to 1.5 percent and possibly cut those monthly payments in 1/2 and since you were only making the minimum monthly payments this would be a great opportunity for you. This will be my last courtesy call so give me a call today my # is 1.877.723.1427 this is a toll free # again 1.877.723.1427 give me call so we can get those rates lowered for you as soon as possible, i'll talk to you later."

I do NOT HAVE ANY credit cards – I choose to pay for things in cash.

Since I don’t have credit cards – it is a lie that we ‘spoke last week’ and definitely about any credit cards!

It’s a lie – ‘since your only making min mo pmts’ – as I do not HAVE ANY credit cards.

‘Hey Guys’ greeting is clever – but….…there is only me! However it cleverly makes you believe she is your friend, you’ve spoke to her before and deceptively puts you at ease.

Since she NEVER called me before – another lie ‘this will be my last courtesy call’ – providing the illusion she’s called before and I better make sure to call her this time!

I have an Unlisted Cell Phone number – which I NEVER give out.

My good friend ‘Ashley’ conveniently DOES NOT state the Company she is calling from….ie….this is Ashley calling from XYZ Lending…..or whatever.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE AND PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY – ZERO – NONE OF YOUR PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION!!!!

Recvd vm message from Carol Castillo (207)493-2638 she did not leave the name of the company. She did leave the tele number 888-261-4568. When I called Stacia answered and reluctantly gave me the name of the company as Consumer Debt Helpline. She hurriedly hung up when I asked her from where did they get my number & where they were located.

I also had a call from Ashley "Martin" on my work number which is not widely published. As reported by other complainants, she left a message that she spoke to me last week (which also is not true) about lower interest rates (i.e. 1.5%) and said this would be the last "courtesy call." The phone number she left was 866-553-1917. When I called the number and asked for Ashley, I was told she was on another line, but the person on the phone said she could help me. She identified herself as Jamie at ext 1302. She sounded very credible during our discussion and said she was with Consumer Debt Helpline, a non-profit organization. I said I would think about her offers and hung up. After doing some checking and reading the consumer reports below, I believe this is a very clever (and convincing) SCAM.

Someone named Eric called. Would only give ne the name Consumer Debt Helpline. no phone number. 810-341-1952 on caller ID, rings as bad number when called back. I believe this is nothing but people trying to convince you to give them your credit card information. BEWARE

This number is showing on my bank statement link to a company :Indie SEO expert. My bank said is a Bussines support company?I don't own a company.But they charge me with $68.47 once a month for differents things.Now I Call My bank and they can't doe anything to get my money back(650.00).I call this number and nobody answer the line.
Do anyone know what I have to do,to get my money back?????

I received a similar unsolicited phone call from Ashley. I wanted to be courteous and let her know that she had called the wrong number. Then I thougth I'd ask a few questions about this service. They would not tell me the name of their company something about Consumer Debt, and that they represent a bunch of non-profit companies that can help out Consumers with their debt. I asked who the non profit companies were and the person on the other end said they could not reveal this either, but of course she immediately started asking for my personal information!!

I also had a call from Ashley, who said she spoke to me last week.(which is not true). The voice message never said what company she was with... and i have no credit card debt!

Message left by "Ashley King" claiming had spoken w/me last week about lowering interest rates. Could reduce rate to 1.5%. This would be last "courtesy call". Call 1-877-723-1427 toll free to get those rates lowered.

I called the 877 number she left (the number on my caller id was 989-288-4337 - when I called that number back it had been disconnected within minutes of the call) and reached "Missy.&q uot; She also said it must have been a mistake, but when I questioned how they got my cell phone number and why she said she spoke with my last week, she hung up. I called back and reached "Eleanor& quot; who must've been expecting my call because she immediately said "mam, it was a mistake." When I asked for a supervisor, I got a man's voice mail - he didn't give his name, oddly enough! The company they say they are with is Consumer Debt Helpline. Never could get a hold of "Ashley James."

it is a telemarket scam, i think. guy said that he was from a debt place. said i know your paying high intrest rates on your credit cards......I don have credit cards, i said to him. then he says, i must have reached you be mistake.

She told me to call this 1-877 number. This girl called and without saying her name or company that she represented, indicated that this would be the last courtesy call they'd make to offer me low rates. It's interesting that it was the last call, since it was also the first from #810-714-3822. Anyone who doesn't note which company they are with, or their first name, has to know they aren't getting a call back from me.

Caller said he was part of a charity organization to lower my credit card debt. I told him I had no knowledge about the debt and the gentleman said "So, you're not aware of a credit card under [my name] with excess of $2000 in debt?". I said yes and he replied "Really?" I told him that I had a credit card but i didn't know the charges. I told him I'd authorize a third party to discuss it and I just needed a number to reach him at. The gentleman hurriedly said "I'm sorry, I'm sure we just have the wrong person." I told him that it really didn't make any sense for it to be the wrong person, and he hung up. Don't give any of them information, but feel free to give them a piece of your mind.
