This number is to Publix pharmacy’s patient care center. This is a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working out of Publix pharmacy central pharmacy located in Orlando. This is Publix corporate. Technicians may be calling you regarding a new medication you recently picked up and is involved in a follow up program. Called the good start program, this is sponsored by the drugs manufacturer and is only for certain medications like brand name insulin, diabetes, or new medications. The pharmacists may be calling you based on your insurance requesting a medication review, which they do over the phone. This is not a scam call, it is a licensed pharmacy a part of Publix to assist patients and retail locations. You can opt out at any time, Publix just offers the program to everyone who is eligible. That is why they know when you picked up a new medication because they are Public at a corporate level. They have to verify date of birth and information to be able to provide any details due to the hipaa laws. It’s the same thing when your retail location asks for your address. NOT A SCAM

Yes said name was Mario would I answer some questions about scripts at later date and or time . Told him I won't participate. He mentioned scripts that start with s.I was told that corporate does this at least once a year by pharmacist at store.

Said they were from Publix customer care checking on how I was doing with my prescription I just picked up. Said they needed my DOB for verification. I called Publix corporate and they said they didn’t have anything associated with that number, or ever heard of this. My question is how they knew I just picked up a prescription.
