Just got the same as Rose, going to a restaurant site and got beeping and all caps message to call now or risk a complete data loss.Claimed ro be Comcast and call this number for help.Had to use Task Manager to shut down, full scan and all ok, but a waste of time.
i actually was given this number to call as a "Comcast" number. I had been doing researching and i clicked on a link and my computer when crazy, beeping and flashing and i'd close one window and another would open and the message was to call this number as i had a problem with my computer, my IP address and i had to call comcast. i did dial but hung up and i was finally able to re-start my computer.
Caller: they claimed Comcast
