this is a scam they buy old debts ,some that have been pd. or written off. their tactics r illegal. please conbtact the FTC 855 411 2372 or consumer finance.gov,make complaint. they will check it out and contact these people. do not converse with them.

wondering if this is a legitimate company...I cant find any solid evidence that it is and the caller is somewhat evasive claiming to work for the original creditor...it seems strange as the debt went to several collection agencies. I want to pay the debt but wish to be sure that I am sending payment to the legitimate company and not some sort of scam.
