Beware, this is SCAM - they're phishing for your info.
They called twice, pretending to be from DTE Energy, regarding my late bill payment. Only 2 serious problems with that:
- they asked for my tax id right-away, to pull up my account ... DTE already has that, so why ask for it? And if THEY called my number, wouldn't they already have that information??? How else would they have gotten my telephone number?
- my bills are on auto-deduct from my account and have been coming out every month. No way I would've been late.
