We got a call from this number a few days ago and as soon as the man said, "How are you today?", I hung up. This morning we got a call from the same number. A woman with an accent that was difficult to understand spoke about some kind of community effort that was going to provide me with something -- I think a home security system -- for free. I told her they might give me something for free and then charge a monthly fee. She said oh, no, it is a community effort and it is free. I told her I thought it was a scam and I was going to report her to the police. She said fine. I don't think she understood English. When she first talked, she said she was calling for the Community Action something or other.
