This caller likes to act like they are T-Mobile, and will not give you the company's name. That's crazy right, I've asked 5 times to stop calling me I don't have nothing with T-Mobile

I received a call on my cell phone from 203-612-9889. This number has called my cell phone more than once in the past and I have since blacklisted them so now the phone doesn't even ring when they call, they just get ignored to voicemail. Never heard phone ring but just got a "ding" on phone that a voicemail was left. It was "them" again. A recording saying that they were T-Mobile and to call them within 24hrs to avoid a change to my account. (This cell number has never been with T-Mobile and I've owned it since the early 1990's) The recording said they were looking for a customer named Sylvester Crowley, which is not me, not even close. The recording went on to say that I needed to call 877-819-6042 as soon as possible. I just deleted the voicemail like every other time. I find it hard to believe it's really T-Mobile and they would get the number of their own customer wrong when trying to contact them. So, the caller ID said 203-612-9889 called, but they want me to call them back on 877-819-6042, hmmm. Whether it is them or scammers, I'm not getting involved. Deleted.

The phone call states it's T-Mobile but many others online claim it's scammers. T-Mobile sends texts reminding you to pay your bill, so why waste more money sending phone calls. . .

If this didn't come from a third party robo-caller, T-Mobile's billing department is completely incompetent. I received a voice mail wanting some bizarre name to return the call about wireless service. The call came on a T-Mobile prepaid phone I've had for several months. Did they:

1. Check current account holder's name against overdue account holder's name. Probably not.
2. Verify when number was assigned vs when payment was due? Obviously not.

Pretty embarrassing I'd say.
