I have told them multiple times to put me on their do not call list and each and every time they hang up in my face. This has been going on for over a year. Blocking the number only leads to calls from other line. I reported them to the FTC today

I can't believe how long they have been doing this. I was just reading comments from 2010. She asked for the previous owner, I said she wasn't here anymore. Then said she needed to speak to the owner. I said I wasn't interested. When I told her exactly who she said she was calling from she said I heard wrong, haha. Discount Merchant Brokers is what she said. I told her I wasn't interested and she said I was an uninterested person then. Guess so! :)
Said they were from Discount Merchant Brokers, and insisted they speak with the owner. When told we were not interested in their service and to take our number off their list they refused. I told them to do so anyway and hung up before they could say anything else.
Rude callers who refuse to identify the business they are calling from, demand to speak to "ownership" and get nasty when questioned. Terrible.
I get called from the above number all the time but i do not answer the call cause any call i get from a 800 number of anykind i know not to answer i would like to see these types of numbers not able to call out anymore
877-822-2928 is a company called Discount Merchant Brokers. Caller ID shows up as 800Service. They are a scumbag credit card processing business, and clearly not a very good one at that. My secretary informed them that our business is not interested in their services, as we are happy with whom we already deal with. They wouldn't take no for an answer and kept up the high pressure call. She repeatedly informed them that we are NOT interested, and to please remove us from their calling list. The person dropped the F-bomb on her, called her the B-word and then hung up on her. Thankfully all incoming calls to our business are recorded and we will be reporting the call directly to the FCC.gov website along with a copy of the audio recorded conversation.
