I have received voicemail on 10/22, Thurs to call 1-877-823-1468, which I did on 10/28 ( Wed), the person responded with a Pakistan or Indian accent, asserted that he's from criminal conviction dept of CRA, kept on threatening me of lawsuit of income taxes in arrears, I gave out my phone number and last name, which I should not have done in the first place, he kept on haunting me that RCMP will come to my door for arrest if I do not pay up, then he provided me with income taxes in arrears over 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 which I think he's full of crap, said I clear my taxes now, an attorney will come to my home for full disclosure of all documents, he said I can hire a lawyer for further communication with CRA, I felt dubious, stopped conversation, then hung him up, later in afternoon,I used other landlines from work to call same number, it was the same guy (male) with Pakistan or Indian accent pick up, time was around 7pm, and I absolutely don't think CRA will still have people answering phone calls at that hour, RCMP, local police department, law enforcer, please raid this scam ring the soonest, downright nuisance!

Moi aussi j'ai reçu un appel étrange en anglais de 877 823 1468 en disant qu'il est de revenu canada , il lancé une serie de menaces de poursuite légale contre je sais pas contre quoi...!

Moi aussi j'ai reçu aujourd’hui un appel étrange de 877 823 1468 que j'ai pas compris en disant qu'il est de ''revenu canada'' , il a lancé une série de menaces de poursuite légale contre je sais pas de quoi...!

Received one call today from 877-823-1468 saying it's from Canada Revenue, with eastern accent.

I had three calls from this number in the past week saying they were officer so & so from the CRA and I had a legal lawsuit filed against me. I had a hard time understanding anything he was saying so in my frustrated & pissed mood he put me, I called him every name I could think of because he was stressing me out and just hung up the phone on him, but the third time he called I noticed the number on my call display and hurled vulgarities at him right away, he hung up on me. I just retired and just don't need this shit. I checked with the CRA and my file is good and up to date. I also blocked the #

We have received 2 calls from this number, once calling my husband last night and this afternoon to me, they are threatening us that there is a law suit against us and that our house will be taken away and my husband send to prison for 5 years they have alot of information on a person, they know your surname, your address code and tel nrs - when i told the Pakistani sounding guy not to call us again he also said well good luck the police is on the way. Do not answer this number it is not CRA
