I dont work for these people I am a typical person trying to find out who called BUT
I talked with them through my computer that shows a generic phone number when I call just for my own security and what they are is a credit card service that does calls for several banks and credit cards all through the same number, it wasnt a scam, when they call you they have the info, if you call them back then they need to get info from you, they should be able to get everything from the phone number. The call I got was legit , I refinanced my house and had a credit card paid off in the process, as it happened to fall, the credit card payment was due at the time of the pay off was happening, so they were just calling to make sure I knew that a payment was past due and when I explained what was ahppening then it was all cleared up and they understood that made sense. I am sure these workers here a million excuses and angry people every day that dont pay their credit card payments for what ever reason and then get mad when the bank calls to collect.

I received a call asking for Jennifer (which happens to be my daughter's name). The woman gave her name as "Nicole", and she was supposedly calling from US Bank. I checked this phone # on line, and it states that this is a scam. I called the # and "Nicole" repeatedly asked me to verify information. I told her that she had contacted me, and she should have the information readily available (i.e., phone # and address and SS#). We argued at length when I told her I had checked her calling # online, and # is a scam. When I asked her to send me a registered letter about the matter, so I could verify the accuracy of her business, she refused.

They claim to be with Elan Bank. collecting for Mastercard.

This number starts calling at 9am and calls several times throughout the day. You can hear other call-center voices in the background, but after I say "hello" several times, no one replies. Lately, when I see the number on my caller ID, I simply say "Take Me Off You List". Honestly, it doesn't seem to be helping much.

I keep receiving phone calls from this number. They never leave a message and the number deletes from my phone once the call is completed.

Leaves no message. Caller identified herself as Helen.

Keep calling and leaving no message.

I have received 6+ phone calls from this number this evening alone. The first time I answered, a woman asked to speak with "Jennifer". She was told there is no one here by that name, verified the number she had, which was mine. I asked her to remove my number from the list she was calling from because there was no one here with that name. I received TWO more phone calls from this number. The last call I demanded that she remove my name, hung up, and called the number back to confirm that my number had been removed from the list.

I will report them to whoever I need to in order to stop this harassment, and will cancel my Comcast business if these types of calls continue with the Comcast service.

Asked for family member and mentioned local credit union. Very elusive conversation. Wonder how they got as much info as they had? Said they were from a financing company...that none of us had heard of before...scam...scam...scam.
