I got 2 voice mails from this number saying: "If you were expecting this call press pound". I didn't answer since the number was strange to me, but I wasn't expecting a the call either.

Additional information of this number, is connected with Optum Rx and AARP prescription plan. I didn't call, nor try to get on the web site of Optum Rx, I have no indication of ever registering for Optum Rx/AARP prescription plan. 877-844-4999 is also registered to Physio Shop Flagstaff, Arizona, regarding UHC. the problem is my user name, password is needed or AARP. phone number texting would have to be know or bypassed, since healthsafe ID confirmation code sent to me. part of two step verification process.

this number called me, message left on voice mail garbled and something about tau and pound key. (number is part of UHC healhtsafe id) Just prior to call, I received text from HealthSafe ID informing me of my one-time confirmation code. the problem is I did not sign into HealthSafe which is part of United Health's care verification process to prevent unauthorized sign in. My phone number, "nickname" password would have to be known or bypassed. very odd. I did not attempt to sign in.

Oddly, this number is also registered to The Physio Shop in Flagstaff AZ. How is this possible? I discovered this after receiving an email from noreply@healthsafe-id.com saying that someone tried to access my myuhc.com account but did not succeed and to call 877-844-4999. The man on the phone sounded a bit odd to me so I did not give him any info except my name and address (which is public info anyway) and he was able to at least pretend he was looking at my account online and said that no access to my account had been made. It WAS 10:30 on a Saturday night and maybe he was just tired but I was just suspicious enough, especially when I heard people talking to each other in the background and actually thought I heard one say my first name, to type the number into my search engine and UHC as well as this physical therapy place showed up. Its website does not list this or any other 800s phone number. Maybe I will call UHC at the number on my card during normal business hours and tell them all this. Strange, huh?
