Yes, it is a scam. I've experienced much of what posters on this blog have stated. Do not give any personal information including your name.

Received a call this morning from a woman that spoke so fast I could not even understand what law firm she was calling from. The only clear words were associates and the phone number and it was imperative that I return the call. I am so tired of getting these calls from all these "people". I have reported to FCC and FTC and apparently nothing can be done. What good is the Do Not Call registry?

Received a call from re: number above. Left the same message as everyone else above. They don't ask for anyone specific. I called and left a message saying that I was not familiar with this law firm and who is it that they want to talk to. I expect I either won't receive a call back or I will receive many more calls back with the same bull crap.

Just received this call...didn't answer, they left a message Law Firm important matter...didn't say who they were trying to call. Called back from a land line and got an answering machine that said press 2 to speak with the next available rep...I pressed 2 and they hung up on me. SCAM!!!

Message on recorder said important matter from Lou Cart Law Firm? When I called back, I was connected but the person on the other end didn't know that and waited while I said nothing. I could hear a "bank" of callers in the background spilling their scripts - no law firm is going to have a whole room full of people calling. It's a scam.

Received a call from this number claiming to be with Lukehart Law office. They would not give me any details as to what the call was regarding. Just that it was an urgent matter.

they keep calling me saying there is an important matter but, They do not say what it is or who they are except some law firm name with this number.

I am glad people are posting their comment on this people. THis is a scam don't fall for it. If you have a collection item a collettion company will call you but never a law firm. ThHis are definitely ignorant people who don't know what to do then to harrass others.

Called and said they were with some Law Firm (I think it was Jacoby) needeing to reach me about an important issue. Decided to call back. Man answered the phone, I asked why they called me, he said they were looking for an individual (sorry, I can't remember his name), I said I am not him, and the guy hung up.

Message left on answering machine from company claiming to be something like Lukart and Associates Law firm about an "urgent matter." when I called back I got an answering machine and did not leave a message.

Received a call with a lady claiming to be from "Lakehart & Associates" Lawfirm. I have been received several messages in the past several weeks from differing "877" numbers. The messages never leave a name of who they are looking for. Just that there is an important matter. This one indicated that it is a legal matter.

Leaves a message that they are a law firm needing to discuss a "very urgent matter". In actuality, they are a collection agency looking for my 24 year old daughter owing money! They will not stop calling my number. Can I do anything about it?!
