I got a call from this number and the person on the other end said she was with with Capital One (after she took about 5 secs to think about it). Then right away asked me for the pin number and password to my Capital One Credit Card. My card is paid off so there is no reason for Capital One to be calling me in the first place. And if this was capital one why would they ask for my pin number? I have never had a call from this number before and red lights and sirens were going off in my head the moment I answered the phone. Another wierd thing is they called my cell # but I checked online and I only ever gave Capital One my landline.

Calls 6-7 times per day without leaving a message. This is illegal in Canadian collection laws.

Actually, no it is not illegal. What is illegal is if they call, you answer and they call back two more times within the week and you answer. In short, they call you answer x3 in one week.

They Claim they are from Capital One. Tell you the person they are calling owes money to the company please have them call back as soon as they get in.

They then start to call you every day sometimes 4 or 5 times a day except during the week end they don't call then. Only during the Week.

Bell Canada makes you pay for this call even if you don't answer it. Please make them Stop

I emailed Capital one to tell them to stop calling they told me they do not call people unless the client calls them and leaves the number
