Same - Karen saying my Domain is expiring and call asap. Don't answer and don't call back. SPAM!

Same experience. Karen left urgent message that my domain was expiring and to call the number to renew. Scam call.

Do not answer it's a BS of a phone call

They are total scammers. Could be up to something nefarious, requested to enter a phone number associated with a Domain Name I own to re-register?
Phishing to what seemed like Reverse Domain Name Hijacking (‘RDNH’).

The attorney general needs to get on this sort of thing. It's gotten way out of hand. It's not hard to fix either.

The little "Uh" at the beginning is totally meant to make it seem "real" and as though it's a real person. Gotta hand it to them for ingenuity.

Karen says she’s been trying to reach me concerning a domain name that’s about to expire. // scam // The domains I own are private registrations only. The companies always leave there name when calling. Whether it’s godaddy.com or register.com they would never leave a message without indicating what company they’re with. // it’s a SCAM of some sort/ 1-888-202-5979

Same as everyone else here. Said my domain was expiring. It’s not and I did not return the call.

Same as everyone else, Karen called about an expiring domain. None of my domains are actually expiring. Scam.

Also got a call, I called back and went through an automated payment process where it said it would use the card on file. I immediately received a text to confirm/update card info, I trustingly did it and they removed $135.00 from the account which was more than the agreed amount. I called the bank to cancel the card and the amount charged will not go through. I can't believe I fell for it, but with a little inconvenience it should all be ok. please be careful out there with this one.

Also just got a call from "Karen". Same as other reports, didn't ask for a specific person or domain, just said to call back on the number. Definitely a scam.

Karen, tried to warn about domain expire, which I had none. For the record, DRS usually to email 30-60 days prior to domain expiration, they don't call people to remind.
