Let me give everyone a piece of advice! Kimberly Price is 100% scammer! She is not even a real person. Collection agencies make up bogus names to try to intimidate people who may have old debts (past the statute of limitations) to con you in to paying something. Remember, the time period during which creditors or collectors may sue borrowers to collect debts (In most states) run between 4-6 years after the last payment was made on the debt. Also, no debt (except tax liens and Federal student loans) can be on any of your 3 credit reports more than 7 years (that's the law). These collection companies buy old uncollected debt from original creditors for literally "pennies" and then try every scam in the book to con people out of money. DON'T FALL FOR IT! Ignore them and block their number
They called and left a msg.Called them back and they said it was regarding a cc I had over 20 yrs ago. I took down all of the info but they failed to provide the name of the company. Michael Bernstein was the “name” provided. So when I called back to ask the company Name he just hung up on me. I called back twice he hung up twice I called back again and got an Andrew he hung up on me. After nine calls I told them this is a cease and desist any and all calls from this point on is in violation and I will take action against them. Andrew then said I was an idiot...when I hung up on them they then called me back again twice...
Called me and left same vm. I called back and was told they were trying to issue a warrant for a Home Depot charge card from 2007. This is not an enforceable debt. It has been cleared off all three credit reports. When I told the guy this his response was "good luck to you". I said "same to you".
Called me with a recording saying that it was second and final attempt to serve me papers for an outstanding debt. Called back and they said that i had a cash advance payment from the bank I currently use. Wouldn't give any dates, only a 3 year span, or validation of debt.
