I returned the call for someone else and informed Tonya Walker that I had a file on *my* desk with her name on it and she would be getting another call from me for the information for the cease and desist letter and a police report. She probably won't take my next call, either.

It's a scam. They are calling my daughter's cell phone number to threaten her with amounts she doesn't owe.

I also got a call from Tanya from Malone Law Firm. She said the same thing about a law suit against me and gave a file number. I always look here if I don't know the name or phone number. Figured it was a scam so I didn't call back and I haven't heard back from her either.

Tanya Walker from the Malone Law Firm Called to attempt to collect money for a company I owe nothing to. I advised they would receive a cease and desist letter. She changed her tune and tone.

I received a call today saying that I had better call them back today it's regarding a lawsuit that against me. I'm glad I looked it up before making any phone calls She said she was Tonya from Maloney law firm her direct number with 888- 217-2625. After reading all of yours I assume that this is a scam thank you for all posting

I got the same call and couldn't understand what he was saying cause the guy who left a voicemail was mumbling! I did hear the work "law firm" and was curious so I googled. Thank god I did! Now as I'm listening to the VM again, they're saying they're Tanya from Malone Law Firm and didn't even say why they called. Damn scammers

She called me the other day saying that I still hadn't returned 2 of my college books and that I needed to pay off the fine, the thing is is that this did happen to me! I thought my school had fixed the issue though, so when she called I figured they didn't. Reading these other comments though helped me realize that she was a scam, thank the lord I didn't give her my info.

Called my work number today and said it was Tanya Walker from the Malone Law Firm. Called the number back and got a recording to leave a message and Tanya will call back on a recorded line. Since this is not on my credit report, I believe it is a scam and they are trying to get money from unsuspecting people by using a law firm name.

I think it's a scam. They somehow get your name and information and tell you that you need to urgently contact them and that they're from Malone Law firm, but they don't say where or why they're calling. I called back and they answered saying "Law firm".
