I actually got a message similar to this one. i ignored it and i actually did get served these people are no joke.
I have also been called by a Nicole Wyatt that claims that there is a case against me and that I need to call 888-219-6807 and take care of it or else I will be served. This made no sense to me so I didn't call the number and tried to ignore the 6 calls I received from the local number I knew to be her. Nicole then called my boss and my brother and gave them the same story of being a process server wanting to verify my address and asking that I call the 800 number. I did some checking and found out that this had happened to many others. Nicole just called and I told her that I was filing a complaint and that I wanted her to stop calling. She became quite angry and said that she would be serving me at work. I told her to bring it on!
Receiving the same message from a Scott Thomas. Total jerk. He called my cell phone 11 times in a row yesterday and only left me one message saying that there were charges against me and that I was already given a chance to call and that I was going to be served. If this was legit they wouldn't tell you ahead of time that you were being served they would just show up. This guy is def. violating several laws here. He never mentions what company he is calling from or what its in regards to. Only states to call the firm handling my case at 1-888-219-6807. When he does call it comes thru as a private number which seems very strange to me. He is very aggressive and rude. he has even called my work and some how got my step dads work cell and is now calling him. I have never used him on anything that I have ever applied for ect. I have already reported him to the attorney general's office and the FTC.
My elderly mother was constantly harrased by these guys, caller id as Kim Johnson, when I called global they gave me the run around until I was put on the phone with a Joe Sanchez who tired to illicit information from me. Could never find out why they were calling, just that they were threatening to serve some papers, shame on them..
I have also been receiving calls from this same number, 888-219-6807, and they told me that they were going to serve me at work unless I verified my home info. So happy that we live in the day and age of the internet where you can research this stuff first. Definitely a scam and what's even more interesting is that I seem to receive this same type of call every year in January. Don't fret about it and just ignore it. From all of the other sites that I've reviewed regarding this number and the "Global" company that they call and identify themselves as working for, NO ONE HAS EVER ACTUALLY BEEN SERVED WITH ANYTHING!! They just called my job three times today and I finally told them to go ahead and serve me and the guy was extremely rude and told me, "Good luck in court, you're gonna need it!" Complete scam artists! Please don't pay them anything!! Hope this helps...
