Received a call from a Lynette. It was a voicemail because the original call showed up as UNKNOWN so I didn't answer. I called back and was transferred to Lynette who wanted my ssn and date of birth. I wouldn't give either and she wouldn't tell me unless I gave her that info. she just said that I would be served papers and then hung up on me.....

Called saying there was pending litigation and that papers would be served between noon and 5 - left phone number 888-240-0292 and when called and asked questions about it, they hung up - calling cell phone, home phone and relatives' phones

They called me yesterday and claimed to be a Law Firm Wright and Associates... to which no website exists. I asked for their physical address so that I could mail them correspondence, to which their replied "let me get a manager." There is not a legal firm on earth that used the term "manager".

I got a call today from1-888-240-0292 from a lady named Sara. She left a mess saying I had two claims against me and I needed to call to give a statement. I called the number back and an Elliot green said he was Jonathan and franks associates and was goin to transfers me to someone else with my case. Is this a scam cause I have no idea what it is about.

I received the same call this morning on my personal cell phone from a number that showed up as Wells Fargo Bank at 702.931.3623. They said they received sealed documents and said I had to call 888.240.0292 to avoid being served and go to court. I called the 702 # back and it is a fake number. I called the 888 number and it was a call center that didn't give a law firm name. I reported them both.

Just a scare tactic. I work at the courts and they do not call you and warn you. If your being served they will serve you period! They don't want you knowing. Just hang up and avoid it. Aimee A.

Not exactly true. The IRS will call and leave a message saying you are being sued. I thought it was a joke or scam, but within 30 days, my bank account was garnished for the amount I owed.

The IRS will NOT call you - BELIEVE THAT - I have owed the IRS and was put on a payment plan VIA THE MAIL and NEVER EVER received a phone call from them. Don't believe people that tell you that and don't believe people that tell you the IRS will garnish your account -- they WILL NOT!!!!! RUBBISH, ALL RUBBISH

Called my work and left a message stating they received some sealed documents in their office under my name and SSN. Stated I needed to be advised this is a certified notice of intent regarding a pending claim being filed against me. Told me to contact them at 888-240-0292 with no contact name. At the end of the call he said my name and then 'you have been notified'. Annoyed. Shouldn't be calling people at their place of employment regardless of what type of business they have with me.

Message left stating they received some sealed documents today under my name and SSN. Stated they needed me to be advised this is a certified notice of intent regarding a pending claim being filed against me and told me to contact claimants office directly at 888-240-0292 - at the end of the message he said "my name" you have been notified.

I received a call from an Anthony Cooper telling me I needed to call 888-240-0292, identified as JC Frank & Associates to make arrangements to avoid being served at my home or employment. He gave me a case number and a contact name..but no information on the underlying account which makes me suspicious.
