These people called my ex-husband's 1st wife (who is remarried with a different last name, plus we don't get along so why the h*ll would I put her name and number on anything) telling her that if they could not deliver my summons to me that they were going to add her to court case also, along with her new husband. I really loved it when they would call my mom (who is very sick) and harass her nurse treating to have her deported back to Mexico. That one makes we laugh since she has never left the US has blond hair and blue eyes with the last name of Moore. I say they give us their private numbers and we harass them at all hours.

Same here!! This man calls me with a sturdy voice and says that he is with Process Service Verification and someone needed to be home between the hours of 9am and 4pm. And they will be serving a summons to appear in court. First of all, if the summons was true, sweetie, you will not be forewarned of a summons. They are going to catch you off guard. This is annoying and getting on my nerves. They left a reference number that I cannot find anywhere. I am not calling them back... They are full of it!! They are calling restricted also!

This is a scam. I got the call last week and then again today. They claim they want to deliver a summons and want me to call to arrange a time if I can't be home between 9 and 4. Well, my husband works at home and has been there every day. Also, have you ever heard of someone calling ahead when they want to serve you with a summons?
They gave a case number. I looked it up on my county's court database, and no such case exists. They are trying to get you to "settle" over the phone. Don't give them any information, especially not a credit card.
