Got a call from this # as well, Said to Call "Terry" at 503-549-3265 (Customer care recording) on a Saturday? It says the Office is closed. Concerned this Scam/Phishing. The Case # is 17 digits and is not what I'm used to seeing even from the executive office. I gave him a good cussing.
I've received two different calls from this number, one claiming to be from Wells Fargo and one claiming to be a credit union in Florida. Both calls cite the same reference number, and the same 'agent' to call back. I called Wells Fargo directly and they informed me it's a phishing scam.
If you ever receive a call from a financial institution, you can always call them back directly with the number on your atm card or via their website regarding the issue if you are event the slightest bit suspicious and you will never be penalized
yes
i called the main line on the atm card and they validated this as being a wells fargo number
I called that Wells Fargo main number and they said that this is one of their call back number 888 261 2807
I received 2 calls from a Brandon Pan, who said he was with Wells Fargo Executive Office. He called from an 800 # and left a voicemail an 888 number to call back plus a case ID to use as reference. When I called, Brandon Pan wasn't available but the person that answered wanted to verify me with the case number I was given. I called my branch manager at Wells Fargo who confirmed that neither number was associated with Wells Fargo executive office or any Wells Fargo dept. If you get the call report it to your branch right away.
