i have had to do this, b/c somehow my info was given to payday loan places and i was getting 50 calls/emails/texts a day... now my phone doesn't ring and i don't have to worry about them...

They started calling from another number (877-251-1354) just before 8 a.m., asking for someone named Jason, and kept calling, even after I told them they had the wrong number. Finally I called them back and found out that they are a loan company named BestPayToday. They even have a website. It was difficult to get a supervisor or manager, but someone named Reuben came on the line and when I told him I wanted him to remove my phone number from their calling list, he asked for my social security number so he could pull up my account. I told him I don't have any account with them and to remove my number. He told me he couldn't help me without my ssn and hung up on me. Afterward, they started overlapping phone calls (I'd answer one and another call would come in on call waiting. This went on for maybe 3 minutes with a total of 7 calls, then they started texting. Their message said I had been approved for a loan and that I should call them at the number they had previously been calling from. I changed their ringtone to silent so it wouldn't bother me since I don't know how to block them and after 3 more calls, I started getting calls from another # 888-311-6369. It was the same people.

Had a male with a heavy foreign accent stating i applied for a loan . I do not recall appling for a loan .
