They claim to be Earthlink however, I think it is a scam. The most recent call, they wanted to verify my account with the last 4 digits of my credit card number. Very unusual. I told HER "no" and finally hung up but, they tried and tried to keep my on the line . Then, they (HE) called me back, asked what MY issue was. With typing in the back ground, I explained and some how (for the first time in 4 calls) the agent totally understood and acted as if they were constantly typing notes. I have recently been on the phone numerous times with earthlink and I have never heard typing in the back ground and due to different accents, there are always a few communication breakdowns.
