They called me 10/24/17 (Nadine) to check on a delinquent bill-me-later account. I gave them information to prove that I had not opened the account and it was approved as a case of fraud. I called back to Paypal credit dept to confirm that the original call was legit.

It's not a bill collector. It's a scam!!! I got a call and never had a Pay Pal Credit account. I called Pay Pal and was told it was a fraud. What you can do is file a report online with the FBI ( this a federal offense) or your local PD. If they call again let then know you filed a report and you can give them the report number

They too called and said my husband owed money from Bill Me Later. He does not have a Paypal account. After contacting the REAL paypal, we found that this number is in no way affiliated with paypal and/or bill me later. BEWARE!!

No caller name, but called me because someone else had used my phone number as reference I guess. Told them I knew the person only via Skype, that he didn't live here and haven't heard anything from him in months. Gave 888 334 6240 for him to call back if I ever chatted with him again. This was back on 23rd July 2015. They said they would remove my number. Guess they did because I haven't heard anything since July. Mentioned something about PayPal Credit. Guess it is a bill-me-later thing.
