FAKE PHONY FRAUDULENT CALLER PRETENDING TO BE FROM MICROSOFT REPAIR

same thing, just told my yahoo email accessed 5 times from unusual location

This is not SPAM or Telemarketing, it is Info Phishing and potential fraud! Do not give any of your personal or financial info to these creeps. Tell your elderly loved-ones to hang-up immediately. If you're smart and sharp, ask a lot of innocent questions, keep the idiot caller (eg: Liam from HP) on the line for as long as you can, then ask him/her why their number is listed on multiple scam reveal sites and lists! If more people waste their time x millions of calls it will quickly put them out of business!

New it was a scam. Told him I did have a computer and used my phone for everything. Said thanks and hung up. Guess he was new and needs more training. :)

A guy just called from this number and I was already suspicious...he said he was from Microsoft and there was a virus on my computer..I asked again what company he works for because I couldn’t understand him he started getting pissy and said MI—CRO—SOFT.. he said can you get to your computer I said no...then he started yelling at me saying why? Why? Why? Can’t you? I told him I wasn’t home and he didn’t have to be rude...he said oh I was just kidding and asked when he could call back. I hung up but I’m expecting another call soon

888-340-5111 called already 2x yesterday and 3x today. I do NOT pick up a number I don't know. Instead, I go to GOOGLE and type in the number. And sure enough - here are all the comments and complaints about this number. Thank you everybody. The next step: I go to my phone company and BLOCK this number. It works. I have done it before. I can actually do it myself by logging in and blocking under 'Unwanted Calls'.

received call from 888-340-5111 said I had a virus told her Dell does not call and then I hung up. she called back 3 more times I did not answer. I believe this is a Scam.

Called today claiming to be from Microsoft. Woman got very loud and belligerent when I said that Microsoft doesn't contact people. I told her not to call back and hung up. She called right back, I answered and told her to not call back again. She became angry, and I hung up again. Called back again 3 times, and I didn't pick up. Rey irritating.

They claim to be from Juno about my email account Steve Johnson was supposedly a supervisor..Gave me an extension of 3006. Try to sell network blocker.Came up as Resource Monitor. Gave me an additional phone number of 510-246-8560.

Went to voice mail & the caller didn't know she was being recorded. She was speaking Vietnamese & I couldn't understand what she was saying.

I am receiving calls from 888-340-5111, with "United States" right under the phone # on my cell phone. Based on the reviews here, glad I haven't answered those calls.

When I seen the number 1 888 340 5111 I announce as I answered Worcester Country Sheriff's office how can I direct your call. Spam for sure Claimed they were with Microsoft & had wrong number.
