Fraudsters are spoofing

888-345-5509 and

888-345-5510 to show up on Spectrum landline caller ID (which are actual Consumer Cellular numbers) and leaving voicemails requesting unsuspecting victims to call

1-888-213-4142 which is NOT CONSUMER CELLULAR.

NEVER CALL 1-888-213-4142

since you will be speaking with SCAMMERS!

I just had a call from this number. Caller ID showed Consumer Cellular. I said hello, received no response, was hung up on.

1 888 345 5510 is a "no reply" number Consumer Cellular uses, (in my case), to send unidentified, suspicious, and frightening emails that are actually an automated business response IE phone bill "payment confirmations" .
I guess corporate figured if they left the company name off the header, less people would try to mistakenly respond to their automatic no reply email alerts.
Looks like this could be easily fixed, if cost cutting, and profit margins haven't won out over business ethics and good manners.
