It came in an email purporting to be from the national donotcall.gov list, saying that you must call the above number with your cellphone to renew registration to the government list.
Snopes reports this is a scam by a telemarketing company. DO NOT call this number.
FYI, NUMBERS LISTED WITH THE gov list never expire.

It promises to lower your interest % on your cards IF you will give them all your card information, ID on back of card and other personal information. But when you asked them questions regarding their connections to VISA or MC they hang up immediately. They will not give you any information about their company..They just want card information.

That I've won a free $100 WalMart gift certificate for "participating" in something online, but I did not do this. They speak of some magazine, but I cut them off to tell them to STOP THE CALLS & do not hear the entire "speil". Over the past 2-3 days, the calls have sometimes come 2-3 an hour...many many calls.
