calls every day at the same time and never leaves a message. they hangs up as soon as I answer or have a automated voice will be on the other line that stated for me to call them for assistance.

I don't answer 800 numbers, but this number keeps calling me twice a day for the last week and a half. I've called them twice (when they were closed) telling them to stop calling me, but they're not listening!! Stop calling me!!!!

It's a university calling. They are calling you because they are required to make contact with you. Just tell them to stop and everything should be fine.
FYI if you give companies and universities like this your information (even if it's by accident such as filling out a popup, filling out a form while just trying to apply for a job, etc.). They WILL call you unless you tell them to stop. Do not give your information if you don't want these people calling you. It's that simple.
