called several times and wants to talk to someong that is not at the phone number and never was there.

I received 2 calls alone this afternoon for someone that had our phone numbers more than 14 years ago. It said if I wasn't that person to call 888-441-5024...so I called that number and I got a recording that the number for our area had changed to 800-712-3000 and that goes to Verizon. This is getting really frustrating. Is their anything that can be done???? The original call came from 888-441.5024.

this number use to haunt me.... THose guys are NASTY! REAL NASTY!
I use to get calls from them (They Collect on Federal Student Loans)
"This is an attempt to collect a debt" Blah blah blah
They threatened to garnishment my wages
They Told me that I needed to make a HUGE down payment... (800 BUCKS! WTF)
OH YEAH I DID MY RESEARCH ALRIGHT!
I fixed my credit, stopped the garnishment process, got my collection fees waived,
and went back to school :)))))
I LOVE THE INTERNET...
I bought some book called "The Student Loan Blue print"
Guess what my minimum monthly payments ended up being??? 55 bucks pshhhhhhhh
They told me i had to pay 200 bucks a month... LIARS!!
If you have a Fed. Student Loan in default I Would Urge you to check out this website...
This is not some spam crap... They saved my tail !!!!!
