This is a call from TracPhone. I'm a TracPhone customer. The calls usually are to sell more minutes or alert me to different offers. But most importantly, they alert me to the fact that my plan is about to expire or I am low on minutes, which is useful. If I want to stop the calls, I can just follow the instructions at the end of the message. But I'm okay with the calls since they are infrequent and provide me with alerts that are useful. They have been fully reputable in their practices as far as I'm concerned and I'm confident that they only call people who got on their list legitmately and, if that's not your understanding, they will delete you from their list by following the simple steps at the end of the message.
This was a recorded message selling double-minutes for my TracFone. At the end it offered a way to end the calls -- by phoning them back and making a menu selection. So far it has worked.
I do not answer 888 numbers. I know that they are just tellemarketers.
