Scotiabank... didn't even have the last name correct

Person called at 8:45am asked for either account holder by name, and stated she was from Scotiabank and payment on my LOC was 3 days late. I stated it was made in July. She disagreed saying this was a collection call. I told her collection calls are usually made 30 days or more after due date. I realized this probably was a scam so asked for number to call back. This is number she gave me. This was total SCAM call!

Urgent Matter call identifying as ScotiaBank. I believe it to be a SCAM.

Claims to be Scotiabank, but I called Scotiabank to verify if the number was legit and they told me it is a scam.

Definitely not scam. Scotiabank Collections for late payments on credit product. Verify online of uneasy. You'll see you missed a payment or were past due date.
