These people have been calling me quite often. I asked them, no, ordered them to stop calling me after the second time, as I am sixteen and cannot even own my own credit card to have debt on. When I told them to stop calling me, they told me that my number was "not in their system." So what happens? That Thursday (the previous encounter happened on Monday) I get another call from them. We're ready to sue if they call again. Show these people no respect, for they are only scammers. After doing my research, I found that these people call to have debts payed that have been payed off for years. They are nothing but scum.

I received so many calls from morons just like this that they actually ran my minutes out of my cell phone. They were actually calling about a debt of my father's who is now in a nursing home on Medicaid with progressive dementia. Once you go on Medicaid, the disadvantage is that they take everything (and I mean almost everything) and only give you $44 per month, but the advantage is that they care of you for life. Another advantage is that WHATEVER DEBT YOU HAD at the time you go on Medicaid BECOMES UNCOLLECTIBLE! I tried to tell these callers that they CANNOT collect a dime of my father's debt, ESPECIALLY NOT FROM ME, but they call anyway. I finally called Lemberg and Associates, sued these stupid f*ckers, and won! I am $750 richer but more importantly they finally stopped calling! Now they are calling my sister and I put her in touch with Lemberg, and it looks like these b*stards are in for another costly spanking! I'm telling you people that you do not have to put up with this. The best two things I ever did was to sign up for EveryCall to research the numbers and then turn it all over to Lemberg and Associates! If enough people sue these gestapo jerks, we can put them out of business or at least get them to discontinue their gangstalking, strong-arm tactics.

This # has been calling since I activated my new phone with boost mobile. I have no debts with anyone so why is this happening?

I activiated a new cell phone number on May 5th, 2011with ATT - a pay as you go minutes - no contract number.
I have no debts.
With in days of activating the new cell number, I started receiving calls from 1-888-454-5482. A recording was left and each time this number calls I am debit on my minutes. I called the number once to ask that they not call anymore and all I got was an angry response and the person at the other end hung up without asking anything or telling me why they were always calling. meanwhile my minutes are being spent everytime they call.
FTC is not doing its job obviously because this sort of harrasment should not exist. ATT must bear some responsibility too because it is a new number and within days of activating the calls started company. Only immediate family know my new number so how else did this company learn of the number. Thanks for helping if you can.

mGood friend i did recieved this call today as:1:00pm.I did entered this number in the computer and i am glad you have provided the right info about this crooks.I did bought my prepaid with sprint. For emergency call porpouse only and since yesterday i began using it. Unwanted telemark or this type of people annoying and stealing air time intended only for emergency they donot care ,only for the consumer to quickly go back and re-spend money to their pockets quicker. They won't play with me this way, basicallyI want to advise be calm step one;step two ignore the call always they will giveup on you i guarantee it is what i do at my home phone with annoying collectors and anyone i donot identify ain't worth it, for a time being they will call short time or longer term but will give up calling you since they realize you and anyone taking my advice won't fall again just remember the call treat it as unwanted calls,It will prevent them from stealing your phone use. Be calm let it riiide!! set your ringer somehow low or the vibrater see who; Just clip back to your waist i make a list of my company personnel and friends family members etc.important numbers to hold and just make sure always to pickup the wanted call.I guarantee you will save your time and money with your prepaid.Discipline and be cool will override this harrassers.I do it always at home and now with my prepaid cell phone ,be creative and counter fight the abusers you will enjoy doing it back to them .

Hot spice has somewhat the right idea, but doesn't go far enough! Sue them! I did and won! They called me day and night, Sundays, you name it. With the information I got from EveryCall, which I passed on to an attorney (I used Lemberg and Associates but I'm sure there are many such excellent law firms out there who can help), and I won...$750! Not a lot of money BUT the calls stopped. They are now calling my sister and I put her in touch with Lemberg, and it looks like another victory is in sight. If enough people sue (and I promise you that it doesn't cost you a dime!), these moronic, gangstalking, strongarming, gestapo collection b*stards WILL STOP!
