Have advised I dont have DirecTV and continue to call
Yes, I'm a DirecTV customer. So when they woke me up with an early-morning call, I assumed it was one of their stupid surveys. BUT then the guy starts demanding that I make a payment. "What?! I paid the entire balance YESTERDAY!" They woke me up to ask me for a payment I'd ALREADY MADE the day before! (Maybe DirecTV should buy a computer, so that once someone makes an over-the-phone payment with a credit card it can IMMEDIATELY be noted on their account, and then the customer won't be annoyed with unnecessary calls that make DirecTV look like they don't know what they're doing!)
The guy thanked me for my payment and asked me to stay on the line to confirm the payment I'd made ... and then disconnected me. They clearly know what they're doing! Wow.
Some time ago I called Directv and asked a simple question. Since then my monthly charge more than doubled. When she called me I owe for one month, but she said the 3 month amount. Everything I spoke she acted like she could not hear me and went right back into collection script.
